Terms & Conditions of booking with Beacon Travel Service Worldchoice Ltd
Deposits
Where applicable unless stated by the tour operator or booking agent, a deposit will be required at the time of securing your booking. The deposit required is different between the tour operators and you will be notified by us (Beacon Travel) before accepting and proceeding with your booking. Deposits are non refundable.
Balance payments
The balance of your holiday will be due 12 weeks prior to departure, unless advised as some tour operators require 14 weeks and some only 6-8 weeks. We will write to you two weeks prior to your balance due date, to give you time to arrange your funds for payment*. You may wish to make part payments prior to your balance date also.
Tour Operator booking conditions
At the time of booking, you will be advised and given the terms and conditions of the tour operator chosen and booked with, and you will be bound by those conditions. You will be requested to sign a booking form accepting the details of the booking made. Once you have confirmed your booking and paid your deposit, any amendments or cancellation to your booking made will be subject to the tour operators amendment charges or if cancelling a loss of deposit or once your balance has been paid a sliding scale of cancellation charges apply. *Failure to make payment for the balance of your holiday by the advised balance due date will result in your holiday being cancelled and 100% of your deposit retained by the tour operator. All elements of your holiday will be cancelled and a cancellation invoice detailing either a loss of deposit or the cancellation charge where your balance has been paid, will be forwarded to you. If you have a legitimate reason for cancellation you may be able to recover your loss by making a claim through your travel insurance company, you will need to provide the cancellation invoice. Any monies refunded from the tour operator will be arranged and forwarded to you. In all cases, please refer to the booking conditions of the tour operator you are booked with.
Cancellation
In all cases we require written confirmation either by letter or email that you wish for your holiday to be cancelled. Please refer to the tour operators booking conditions with relation to timescale and cancellation fees charged.
Payment to Beacon Travel
We accept cash, cheque, debit and credit card payments and upon request you can also pay by BACS. Your funds are 100% safe and are paid into the Travel Trust Association account who then arrange to pay the relevant tour operator on our behalf. If in the event of closure of Beacon Travel Service Worldchoice Ltd, the Travel Trust Association will take over your holiday booking.
A receipt will be given and at the time of booking an ATOL certificate provided which is the financial protection where a flight applies as your booking or part of your booking.
