Dear all at Beacon Travel
Another triumph from Beacon Travel!
We have had another great trip as usual we have enjoyed it immensely!
The Royal Clipper was great Room great - 2 portholes this time and the noisiest, squeeckiest T V stand ever which is relevant because the trip was the choppiest. The purser had a bowl of anti sickness pill permanently by her side and dolled them out like sweets . Sailor Newman's are hardy folk and needed no medication except the pina colada on tap. So bad on last night they put the bedsides on although I could have used them on the previous night too.
Funniest sight was watching aqua aerobics in pool on deck just before they battened down the hatches for the coming storm, water sloshing copiously across the deck like mini tsunami. What the British will do to say they are enjoying themselves. The Germans and Americans had already stationed themselves in pole positions in the bar. A party of 10 Americans seemed to be there 24 hours a day . Their bar bill must have been yards long. All great fun. Good thing we could not stay at cobblers cove the whole time as Sandpipers is brill Better and the food is phenomenal. All things being equal we would like to do the new Royal Flyer Waiting list for next Feb march? same cabin size and in the middle?
Jamaica After this experience I think the first floor bedrooms would be best and safer for Rachel Met Janet in Antigua What a small world and on the clipper !!!!!!! She was taking someone off to go to private party on Nekker Island. Thank you all again for a smashing time. Had to use St James Travel for something small but they were great at 10 pm on a Saturday night- even off duty. Lusso was great on arrival even though they had a couple of hundred Firestone employees going on a jolly on a windjammer for a week with us arriving in the middle. Gluten free not been an issue either.

See you soon
Just to say a huge thank you for all the work you put into organising our trip to Australia. To be able to come in and say "we want to tour Australia but not sure where to go" and then have a tailor made trip planned for us, was everything we wanted and more and gave us a real taste of Australia. Your planning and organisation was amazing, 7 weeks of travel involving flights, train, hotels, motorhome hire, car hire, transfers to name but a few, not a single problem or hiccup with any of your organisation. It really was a trip of a lifetime and not something we could have done on our own.

" We were invited to join friends who are long standing customers of Beacon Travel to join them on a trip to New York. Beacon arranged everything, flights, hotel, visa's etc. We were even provided with a guide to tipping in the Big Apple. We are most impressed with the attention to detail and the helpful attitude of Paul and the Beacon team, nothing is too much trouble, a really memorable experience. Thanks !

Beacon Travel organised a tailor-made trip for us across the USA lasting 4 weeks coast to coast. We had great hotels in Boston, Washington D.C, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City and San Francisco, plus recommendations for excursions including a boat trip on Lake Michigan, a steam train journey in the Rocky Mountains. Seemless intercity connections on Amtrak and American Airlines, great value with individual service from Beacon Travel. Most highly recommend!
